Clos Saint-Fiacre “L’Excellence” Red 2023
Blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir from vines about 50 years old grown on clay-limestone soils. Aging takes place in barrel, resulting in a complex and structured wine. In the glass it shows a bright ruby color. On the nose, aromas of candied strawberries, red fruits, and light spicy and vanilla notes emerge. On the palate it is broad, soft, and silky, with mature, elegant tannins and a balanced finish.

aging 5-7 years
Vinification includes complete destemming, 48 hours of cold maceration, fermentation in stainless steel, and aging in 400-liter oak barrels without filtration or fining.
